FAQ & PACKING

  • Food Allergies

Let us know in your registration (we made a part just for that), Lake Ann Camp loves to find ways to make it work so you can come to camp with us!

  • Housing Questions

We will be staying in cabins & rooms with like-gender, like-age groups. We will do our best to place you in the cabin with your friends, but each room has limited bunks.

  • Spending Money

Lake Ann Camp has an amazing facility called the Red Canoe, it is loaded with small candy, ice cream, sodas, coffee, apparel and lots of other things. Prices range from $1-30 per item.

  • Transportation

Meet at Redeemer Bible Church at 7:00am on June 11th. We’ll take tour busses driven by professional drivers. Leaders will accompany us on the trip - creating a camp experience before they even arrive!

We will have lunch on the bus on the way to camp.

Lunch provided by Lake Ann when we return with a snack on the way back as we will arrive around dinner time on Saturday, June 15.

  • Medications

Any and all medications must be given to the camp nurse/doctor upon arrival. When you drop off on the 11th, have all medication in their original containers in a Gallon Sized Ziplock Bag with your student name on the ziplock. Write any instructions on a piece of paper (dosage, time of day, etc.) in the bag. Please contact us with any specific questions.

Medications will be available at Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner & Bedtime, unless needed for emergencies (i.e. inhaler, epipen, etc.)

  • Phone Policy

Camp is a time to get away from the noise of life & focus in on time with God & others. No student will be allowed to have a phone. Don’t even bring it in the car to get dropped off, leave it off at home! It is good for the soul!

We will have an emergency contact number for both Redeemer Leadership at Camp AND for Lake Ann directly. Those numbers will be sent in post-registration materials.

  • Cancellation + Refund Policy

If you find yourself unable to attend Summer Camp before May 27, 2024, please contact tami@redeemerbible.church we will help you get a full refund. After May 27, 2024, partial refunds are potentially possible on a per case basis depending on non-refundable costs.

  • Send Home Policy

Getting to camp is a big deal! We know it is a financial and time sacrifice, and it is so worth it. Therefore, we will do all we can to keep students at camp (homesick, illnesses, etc.), but if needed we will call parents to pick up a student for severe medical or behavioral issues.

  • Camp T-Shirts and Sweatshirts

There is an optional annual camp t-shirt and sweatshirt available for purchase. You can make your selection at the time of registration.

If you want to purchase merch after registration we will provide a secondary registration page for that option!

What do we do at camp?

Summer Camp is a huge deal - we have as much discipleship time with a student over 5 days at camp as we do over the course of an entire year of student ministry.

Camp is a place to make new friends, strengthen ongoing friendships, dedicate time to the Lord, His Word, & His People, and a launch point for an entire year of ministry. We hope students walk away impacted by encounters with the Living God of the Universe, and deepened relationships with others.

We want for all students of Redeemer Student Ministry to be able to attend this amazing event, if there is something keeping you from being able to send your student, please let us know. We want to help make camp possible for you!
